Broken Angel - Page 10/32

I creeped into the house straight up to my room, but only to find it empty. All of my stuff had been taken. There wasn’t a vehicle outside. Had someone robbed us? I went to my closet and found only a pile of cloths and a letter.

I didn’t want to read the letter so I just took the cloths and went to the bathroom and changed. Mom and her stuck up boytoy had left. Where was Isaac when I needed him the most?

The cloths were black. Everything. I didn’t even recognize myself. I looked nice. There was a slip that goes under the shirt to make it look like you are smaller than you really are.

After everything was on. I felt nice. My body looked smaller than it really was. I slipped on the boots that were there.

After an hour of passing around, I finally decided to read the letter.

The envelope was creased with a golden line. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I hadn't ever seen anything that shiny. Mom wouldn’t ever get a job so any of us could.

I opened it carefully, I wanted to keep it. The letter stated.

Dear Alivia Paige,

I, am so sorry I had to leave you like that. If you’re reading this. Mom and her dirtbag are gone. I don’t know where. I came to retrieve your belongings, and everything was broken and there was blood everywhere. I didn’t want you to worry because when we had separated this afternoon, I have your things, they are now at grandmas house.
