Broken Angel - Page 28/32

I can feel his eyes gazing upon me. It doesn’t make me want to hurt him. All I do I just look at him and ask. “What is it?” “Nothing in this world could ever compare the beauty that is standing right in front of me.” He whispers. I can feel the heat of blood rush to my check.

“Hey, we have to get to class.” He whispers taking my hand dragging me down the hall. “What is wrong?” I ask him. His facial expression says that he is scared. He touches the right side of his face, then points to the left like he is a cop giving direction.

I look to the left, remembering that is what my dad did when he was still with my mom. He always told me that when I was little I need to pay attention to what he does with his hands. He uses to say that it gives one direction. Yeah, my dad was a cop. And I think he still is. But how can one know what one has yet to see in the so very distant past?

But I look to the left only to see a huge security guard coming our way. I walk a little faster. He catches us right before we go into the history class. “You’re coming with me, missy.” He says pulling on me. The history door opens and out pops a man that words alone will never be able to describe. “Sire I am the new History teacher. Alivia was only retrieving Dwayne and heading to her locker as I asked her to. Now release her.” He says looking at me. I feel a slight shiver runs through my body. Making me feel electrified.
