Innocence to Bravery - Page 177/181

Adhira saw him with a blank face and listened to him but still tears were rolling down her cheeks. Arya continued,” Doctor called me and said that if our son had mental disorder. So think, if he had been alive he would have struggled all his life. But now it is for his betterment dear. He will be born again somewhere in this world without any disability. So don’t cry for his loss dear. Be happy that God has given a chance to live without any issues.”

Adhira was shocked hearing it. She asked him to call the doctor. He wasn’t able to understand what happened but he didn’t want to risk anything so he went and called the doctor.

The doctor arrived and checked her. While checking Adhira asked the doctor,” Doctor, Is that true that my son had disability?”

Doctor saw her and said,” Yes.”

“How is that possible? I did regular checkups and none informed me about it.”

“Adhira, it was a rare case scenario. If your son had disability right from start the doctor must have found but I guess something happened afterwards which could have made it undiscovered.”

Arya stood there hearing them out. He then spoke up,” Adhira, Whatever happened is for good. Now let’s move on.”

The doctor also said the same but Adhira spoke up,” But doctor what could be the reason for him to get such issue.”

Doctor said,” Well it must be either due to growth inability or you must have met some accident or even a jerk. Anything could have happened. But Adhira forget about it. Be strong and healthy so that you can deliver a wonderful baby soon.”

Adhira rolled back her days and thought,’ Oh! My God! I am the reason. I killed my son’, thinking it she screamed and cried out loud.

Arya and doctor got shocked. Arya went and held her. Adhira spoke up,” I killed our son. It is all because of me.”

Arya wasn’t able to understand what was going on but he said,” No it is not your fault.”

Adhira shouted,” Yes, It is my fault”, she then explained him the incident where she got hit in a table in her office.

Arya understood it but still said,” You didn’t do anything, dear. It happened long back and it was not the reason for his death. So don’t blame yourself.”

The doctor understood her pain and said,” Adhira, It is not your fault. You don’t need to blame on yourself. Please calm down. You need complete rest now.”

They gave the injection to calm her down and prescribed some medicines. She asked Arya to give her something to eat and make sure she gets some rest.
