BASKAR-SHYAMALA - Page 49/104

Shyamala, unlike other girls, was a stalwarted and frank, outspoken and straightforward sylph but when left in the nuptial chamber, she blushed and wore the appearance of coyness. She was ravishing in her traditional saree, blue colour silk saree matching blue blouse, carrying a silver tumbler of milk and paced towards the nuptial bed where Baskar was waiting for her. She was flexing her head and when neared the nuptial bed, she stopped and squinted at him.

Baskar smiled at her squinted eyes and wished to cuddle her for which he exserted his two hands towards her and winked at her with his usual smile on his face.

Shyamala stretched out the tumbler of milk towards him to mean that he had to drink the milk.

Baskar received the tumbler of milk from her and kept it aside on the table near his bed where a fruit market was stocked on the table. Then he held her hand and she sat beside him flexing her head still.

One of his hands touched her chin and raised it to look at his eyes.

A momentary flash of look but she could not continue looking at his eyes; so her eyes flexed towards the floor.
