At about seven, Prasanth, Shyamala and Ramana came to her apartment with their books and notebooks for tuition.
Swathi replied to the knock of the door: “Yes. Come in.”
“Good evening, Madam.”
“Good evening, take your seats.” Swathi in her didactic tone showed their seats.
Prasanth, Ramana and Shyamala fell in wonder on seeing the changes in her. Usually Swathi would be in her Punjabi Dress without dhupatta but today she was in Bermuda shorts (short trousers that reach down almost to the knee) and tight T-Shirt. Shyamala guessed that she might have worn ‘Wonder bra” to get her appearance of the breasts augmented and her navel was exposed to their eyes. In her dress, she looked much pretty and no one would believe she was running 27 years old.
“Any Rite of passage(of or relating to a significant event in a transitional period of someone's life) today, Madam,?” Shyamala asked Swathi with wonder. “Yes, Madam. Today is my wedding day. Yesterday I married and today is my wedding day.” Swathi replied satirically by which the tribunes kept quiet.
