The journey to work was painfully quick. A small part of me didn't want to leave presence. We drew stares as we walked through the moving doors, past the turnstiles, over to the next available elevator. He took his time pressing the call button.

"It's not too late to change your mind Adela."

"No. Tonight " I answered evenly.

The doors opening, stepping into the car. He pressed the button again and the doors closed. Grimly, I realize that we were the only ones in here as it began to ascend.

"I will make sure that you are having a good time tonight and that you are okay with everything. I just won't be gentle about it."

"You are so full of yourself." I muttered. The ride seems extremely long.

He pulls me suddenly into his arms, gasping my jaw in his hand, forcing me to look at him.

"I am not full of myself kettle pot. I just have certain skills. Skills to make come over and over again. To make you scream."

Moving in for a kiss. I can see it in his eyes, his hold firm. My work up body stiffening, my fingers pressing into his shoulder.

What the hell am I doing?

The car slowed on the tenth floor and he moved away as a friendly group of people got in talking excitedly amongst themselves. I used the opportunity, retreating to the far corner of the elevator until I reach my stop. I practically moan a relief, asking for an excuse when the lift stopped on my floor. His hands gripping mines before I could make an exit.
