Meghna hugged her, “Thank you, Mom. I always take your advice seriously mom and don’t worry I will never let you down.”
Rukmani hugged her back and asked her to change herself and get ready. She teased her,” Get ready soon as Sagar is waiting for you.”
Meghna blushed and replied, “Mom, Please don’t tease me and let him wait.” Rukmani saw her angrily and then Meghna continued,”Okay. I will get ready soon.”
“That is like a good girl” saying this she went out and brought a white and red saree for her. She helped her to wear the saree. Meghna selected a simple gold chain, bangles, and anklets. She had platted her hair and kept flowers on it. She had applied a simple and gentle make up and had applied a light cherry shaded lipstick. Janaki came in and saw her and spoke,”Meghna dear, you are looking beautiful. I am damn sure Sagar is going to have a hard time waking up tomorrow.”
Everyone teased her and she was helpless and all saw that she was blushing so they teased her more. At last pandit came and saved her from them as he informed them that it is time for wedding time. Sagar was asked to move in first and within a few minutes they all came along with Meghna and left her inside.
