“She do respect you a lot paatti. So you want me to allow you to do the chores right? Fine. You can do it but I will also help you.”
Paatti pulled his cheeks and said,” Okay. So what is the plan for today? Didn’t go to ground?”
“No, paatti. I went and got breakfast for everyone. Once everyone awakes serve them breakfast and we can have lunch outside in some nearby restaurant.”
“Okay. Fine. Do you want coffee? Shall I make for you?”
“Yes paatti. You make it while I will observe it. Been a long time that I had tasted your coffee.”
Paatti then made the coffee for him while he observed it but his mind was occupied with questions and thinking about evening. Paatti saw him and understood that he was thinking something so she asked,” What are you thinking so deeply?”
“Nothing paatti. Just a bit nervous as today evening I am meeting Maya and her parents.”
“Oh! So what have you decided to wear?”
“Paatti, does that matters now? What if they reject me? I am damn worried and nervous now.”
“None can discard you. I know for sure that Maya would have said only about good things of you. Do wear a good dress as it does matters.”
