They reached the mandap where the chairs were arranged in the hall and waiting for decorations to take place for the reception. Her relatives then welcomed bride with Aarthi. Maya went inside and they started to proceed the left over tying the scared yellow rope ritual in her wrist. After the ritual was complete she helped their parents in unpacking. Some asked her to rest for a while so that she can be fresh when the groom arrives. Maya thought, “Groom already arrived to my home by hopping the wall.” Time flew by as everyone was busy with their won chores.
By 4.00pm, everyone started yelling saying some chores to each other. It was so aloud that Maya was unable to concentrate who was telling her what. She cried out loud,” One at a time, please.”
Her mom, atthai and mami understood her so her atthai asked everyone else to move out of the room and take care of the chores. Maya got dressed up in pink-green-blue kancheevaram silk saree where the border had half pink and blue color also the trappings at center was in green which she had matched it with blue 3/4th sleeves with golden border. One of her cousin had styled had hair which was curled at the bottom and left open. She had worn mix matched silk threaded bangles of green and blue color also had worn a light lavender and coral cluster flower shaped blue stone with white and gold color pendant necklace.
