Vivek then took Varun’s uncle support and lifted him equal to her height and he tried to make her wear being unsuccessful in his attempts as Maya was playing it carefully. Varun then saw her and asked Vivek to move forward which made them to take Maya behind but Varun threw the garland which landed perfectly on her were everyone clapped for him.
Maya then moved forward to exchange her garland but he played his game now so Maya saw him and winked at him where he fell for it for a moment which she took as possibility and won it. They played it thrice and each time Varun will try to dodge but Maya will do mischievous things which will make him to fall for her.
They then dropped both of them back on ground and then the next ritual Oonjal( The Swing) used for the signification of support of their family and friends in their marriage life. Shiva and Preethi rocked the swing gently as it is a message to couple that they must stay strong and together during all the phases of their life. Their relatives and family offered them milk and bananas also threw the colored rice ball in all four direction as a sign of getting rid of evil eyes and spirits.
They both ate them and then Maya called Janani and asked for a tissue to wipe it off. Janani went and got for both of them so Maya handed to Varun who wiped it off and they both were asked to get inside and do the Palligai Seeds Sowing ritual which is done for seeking the blessings of eight direction guardians and seeking for healthy life and progeny so pots spread with grass and leaves (Vilvam leaves) also nine soaked cereals were asked to sown in the pots.
