Varun widened his eyes and kept his forefinger on his lips gesturing her to be silent but his grandma dismissed his gesture.
Vasuki saw him and asked,” Why are you asking her to be silent? Is it the way you behave with elders?”
Visalatchi replied her, “Vasuki, Why are you scolding him? Also I am not aged yet. Moreover it is between me and my grandson so you don’t interfere in it. We both are like friends.”
Padmanabhan spoke up, “What is that important meeting you have that you have shared only with grandma and not to us?”
“Papa… It’s actually…” before Varun could say Visalatchi spoke up,” He has some meeting with his board members today and if he do well then he might get promoted. He wasn’t sure about it so he asked me to keep that as a secret from you people.”
Padmanabhan saw Varun and replied,” Oh okay. Do well. All the best” saying this he left the room.
Vasuki spoke,”Okay. Do you want me to choose a dress for you?”
“No mom. I have already selected. Please keep the breakfast ready.”
“Okay. Change and come soon.”
Visalatchi grinned at him and he went to hug her. She hugged him back and wished him all the best.
