"Are they all right?" asked Stavros with a worried face. "Will she see me?"
"They are fine. I found them just as I left them last night and she wants to see you very much. Now the doctor is there too. Let's go bring them home."

Two hours passed after that, before the helicopter landed again at the monastery's east side yard. They found Anna with Nikolas in her arms and Alexander by her side, but more than anxious to embrace her long-lost father as well. Her days of loneliness and isolation were over.
Nikolas looked up toward the sky; the sun was bright and blinding. Divine love has come late, but it always comes. He took Anna's hand on his right and with his left he took little Alexander's hand and summoned them close to him.
They walked toward the chapel. At the door, Nikolas took Anna in his arms and swept her off her feet.
"This is what I always wanted to do, carry you as my bride and my loving wife." They all went into the church. Alexander looked at them in joy.
There they stood in front of the holy altar, he then look her straight into the eyes and said, "Would you marry me Anna?" "Yes I will!" Anna exclaimed.
He then took the ring and placed it on her finger and said: "With this I promise to you Anna, in front of our God, to be your loving husband forever."
Then he kissed her as little Alexander watched smiling.
Anna held Nikolas tightly and she whispered to him.
"I will never ever let you go again Nikolas; we will be together until the day after forever, my only one and true love."
Nikolas felt a warm glow inside and knew that for him happiness had come―the war was over.
Nikolas took little Alexander and raised him up on a table, and he placed his cross around the boy's neck saying:
"This is to protect you as it protected me through this whole ordeal," and they both kissed the ten-year-old on the cheek.

In the meantime, Plato was back in the helicopter again. Stavros Bouras was waiting for him anxiously at the cruise heliport.
"Are they all right?" asked Stavros with a worried face.
"They are fine, I found them ... she wants to see you very much."
"Let's go bring them home," said an anxious Stavros.
"I will bring her flowers," Stavros said, " …many flowers. We will fill the island with them, and wedding cookies and sweets of every kind for this will truly be a celebration. My daughter, my loving daughter Anna is back! And Captain Nikolas is alive, and you are reunited with her, also ... Alexander, the boy I thought was a foundling, turns out to be my only grandson… It's all too good to be true Plato, but you know what would make it even better―a surprise wedding present. Since Nikolas is a captain without a ship, and the kids seemed to enjoy my yacht so much back before the war broke out, I am going to give them a yacht of their own―to symbolize their freedom and to act as a vehicle to explore this incredible world … what do you say, Plato?"
