True Agape: True Love Will Always Conquer - Page 29/213

"Why, thank you, sir."

Nikolas offered her his sturdy elbow and she placed her arm on it, clinging to it as he led her around to the other side of the fire. With the glow of the firelight on her cheeks, Anna looked more alluring than ever. They sat cozily next to one another, wrapped in a warm terracotta-colored blanket. On a striped handwoven tablecloth was a feast that surprised even a wealthy girl like Anna.

"You must have a connection with the head chef," she teased him, playfully poking him in the ribs.

"Before you heap too much praise on him, let's try what he's created."

They knelt down in the sand and took healthy portions of the delicious Cretan sheep milk cheese accompanied by whole wheat bread soaked in vine-ripened aromatic tomatoes, oregano, and tasty Greek olives with plenty of rich virgin olive oil. Nikolas brought out a second bottle of the finest red wine to lead a toast to their happiness.

They both wished the hands of time would stop at that moment. As the fire turned to embers, the lovers retired to their warm sandy nest covered with pure white Egyptian cotton sheets. They were very happy, languidly feeding each other and holding hands.

"What about dessert?" Anna wondered, looking lovingly at Nikolas as she stretched her tall slim body, with its shapely hips and long legs pointing toward the ocean. Her upper body straightened to reveal her raised nipples and perfectly sculptured breasts.

A questioning look came over the face of Nikolas, but then his eyebrows relaxed when a solution was quickly found. They burst out laughing, loud and happy. Anna jumped onto Nikolas and they rolled on the white blanket, making delighted sounds. Once again, they had become one body and soul in perfect unison. The rising sun discovered them still smiling and fast asleep.
