"What is your occupation?"
"I am working as an investigator. It's helpful in my position as a reporter for the college paper. I work for Mr., Hodges, who is a good friend of my father's." Curtis stopped suddenly and pointed up to a tall building standing in front of him. "Here it is… the Queens University library."
"Thank you so much, Mr. Singleton."
"Please call me Curtis." He reached into his front shirt pocket and pulled out a card and handed it to Hayley.
"You may call me Hayley." She took the card and looked at it, questionably.
"It has my business address, in case you need me for investigative purposes." Curtis gave a small laugh.
Hayley giggled."
"I need to get to work now… but I would like it if you would stop by my office next time you are in Kingston."
"I don't really know if I will need…"
"I'm not trying to obtain your business. I enjoy your company very much and would like the chance to get to know you."
Curtis bowed his head slightly. "Good-bye, for now."
Hayley watched him walk away. He turned around suddenly and waved. "Thanks again for holding my books." He laughed again and rushed down the street.
