Their lips and tongues met hungrily in a crescendo of unbridled

passion as he penetrated her deepest places, all the while reminding her of

how exquisite she felt. Maddy wrapped her arms around him and held

him even closer, unable to get enough of his warmth. Their union

surpassed every fantasy either of them had ever had as they found total

fulfillment for body, mind and spirit within the graceful expanse of their

Boca Resort Penthouse.

A bold, orange sun began its ascent above the horizon, its luminous

rays dancing on the turquoise ocean and warming up the endless stretch

of beige-colored sand that defined Florida's Gold Coast. Nearby, the

landmark pink tower came alive as resident speedboats, yachts and

sailboats smoothly transitioned out of their slips and into the Intracoastal

waters, initiating their journey to the crystalline sea. For those fortunate

enough to live such a lifestyle, it was simply another day in Paradise.

But as the golden beams flooded through the panoramic windows

and gauzy curtains of the Penthouse, gently rousing them from the

sweetest of dreams, Ken and Madeline awoke with a sense of

overwhelming gratitude and awe for the miracle of this brand new

morning. She'd drifted off with her head resting on his chest, his corded

arms wrapped protectively around her. Warmed by the heat emanating

from his body, she'd hardly noticed that the Egyptian sheets had been

relegated to the end of the bed, scattering rose petals all over the thick,

Berber carpet.

Maddy blinked open her sleepy eyes and smiled when she caught

sight of her sparkling ring decorating the hand that rested comfortably on

top of her fiancés.

Fiancé. Ken, a man who up until a short time ago hadn't even been physically

present in her life, was now her fiancé. Wow! That took some getting used to, but what

a wonderful adjustment to have to make.As she silently thanked God for this

incredible gift of a second chance, she felt his stimulating caresses up and

down her shoulder.

"Mmm, good morning sunshine," he murmured in his deep, earlymorning

voice.

"Good morning," she replied softly as he began to stroke her hair.

"Sleep well, sweetheart?"

"Mmm-hmm," she replied emphatically. Then in a teasing tone asked,

"I wonder why?"

"Yes, I wonder," he played along. With that, he pulled her close to

him, shifting her so that they were now lying torso-to-torso, their faces

inches apart. He smiled at her dotingly as he recalled the previous night's

wondrous events.

"You know, you are an incredibly beautiful, loving woman," he

remarked.

"And you are an unbelievably considerate, affectionate man." Then

after a brief pause, she went on.

"Kenny?"

"Yes?"

"I never dreamed I could be this happy. I mean-yeah, I dreamed

about it, about this, the two of us-a lot. I guess I just never imagined that

the real thing would far exceed anything I could conjure up. And believe

me; I have a pretty active inner life!" They both cracked at up her last

comment.

"Well, you know what they say baby. Ain't nothin' like the real thing!"

They laughed again boisterously before passion inevitably took over.
