"Sounds perfect." I smiled.

"Yeah." He scratched the side of his face.

We arrived at the resort. There was a hotel on the edge of the beach. It was an old eighteenth white villa style building with a red tile roof set right in the middle of a long stretch of a beach that seemed to go on for miles. Palm trees were scattered across the beach side and the sparkling blue waters crashed against the sand. There was a rocky alcove that lead further out to the sea, the waves were crashing hard against the rocks creating misty foam. It was quiet and peaceful. It was stunning. I couldn't believe that Keith had brought me to such a beautiful romantic place. He was so wonderful to me. Every day he gave me another reason to love him and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

We checked in and put our suitcases in the room. We then picked up the picnic basket and blanket from the front desk and we walked hand in hand down to the beach. He spread out the blanket and we kicked off our shoes and sat down.

"It's beautiful, you really outdid yourself baby," I said.

"Just wait, it gets better," he said as he gave me his half smile.

We sat down and ate chicken, potato salad and brownies. Then Keith held me close and we watched the sun set. It was beautiful and spectacular; as the sun went down the sky changed colors from light blue to pink and red. The water sparkled and the waves crashed onto the beach. As we sat there together enjoying the peaceful quiet; I knew it was a moment that I would never forget.

Afterwards he asked me: "Mandy, take a walk with me?"

"Sure."

He helped me up and we walked down the beach. Keith stopped halfway and stood in front of me. He took my hands in his and looked into my eyes.

"Mandy, I trust you with my life. I love you more than I can ever tell you. I didn't know what love was until I met you. I don't even know how I lived or survived without you. I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I thank God that you love me. You mean everything to me and you complete me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I know things won't be easy because of what we do but I promise I will always be there loving you." He knelt down on one knee and pulled a small black box out of his pocket. I gasped as he opened the box and revealed a beautiful gold ring with a sparkling diamond. "Amanda Andrews will you marry me?"
