The young ladies returned to the other side of the nightclub. Vedella was the first one on the dance floor. She was enjoying the beat of the music when someone touched her hand. Vedella turned around to see a mouth full of pearly white teeth smiling at her. She continued to hand dance with the handsome man. She was really enjoying herself. Finally the music stopped and Vedella thanked the handsome man and returned to the table with her friends.

Within five minutes the handsome man was at the table. He pulled out a chair and sat down. "My name is Vance Dallas little lady." He introduced himself.

Vedella told him her name and introduced her friends.

"I couldn't let you enjoy the music by yourself little lady. So, I thought I would join my hand into yours. Your hand was at the right position for me to grab it and twirl you around little lady. Thanks for the dance. I hope it's not the only one I get tonight." Vance remarked.

"I'm ready if you're ready cowboy." Vedella answered.

Vedella and Vance returned to the dance floor. Her friends were watching Vedella with amazement.

"I think that gentleman has caught Vedella eye." Winola commented.

"Darling I think you are right." Georgianna agreed.

"She's having a fantastic time." Jannie Marie observed.

"I haven't seen her so lively since outwitted Melvin for that beautiful stallion." Dixie commented.

"I think she has met a perfect match for her." Georgianna mused.

Everyone continue to dance and have a nice time.

Finally the young ladies were ready to call it a night but Vedella.

"I'm staying to entertain Vance a little bit longer. I'll tell you what you want to know at breakfast, because I know you ladies will be asleep when I get in later." Vedella replied.

"Have a good time sugar." Dixie replied.

"We will hear the details at breakfast." Georgianna repeated.

"Goodnight ladies." Vedella replied and returned to the table where Vance was waiting.

"Your friends seemed so pleasant." Vance commented.

"They're the best." Vedella stated.

"Tell me something about yourself little lady." Vance asked.

"Well, as you can tell I'm from the South. I'm not married. I owned my own auctioneer company and I travel a lot. When I have free time I spend it with my family and friends. Now tell me something about yourself." Vedella replied.

Vance begins his bio.

"I'm single. I'm in my mid-thirties. I'm from Houston, Texas. I'm in the oil business. I'm here visiting my brother John. He's the one dancing with the young lady with the pretty scarf around her neck. He's my older brother. He's married and has two teen-agers. He brought me to the nightclub hoping that I would meet someone and settle down. He has a good heart. I couldn't help watching you on the dance floor. I like what I saw." Vance replied.
