Honeysuckles of the South - Page 4/33

Vedella Armstead is nearing thirty years old. She is a person with a very strong and loud voice. She's a very self-assured young lady. She was born in a rich southern family who made their money in the tobacco industry. She has a degree in business management. She owns an auctioneer company and many other business ventures. She loves to wheel and deal. The harder the deal the more she likes it. She loves to win. She has a very sharp brain.

In college her professors loved the way she could come up with many solutions to the assignments.

Vedella is an attractive young woman. She stands five feet and seven inches tall, and a very curvy shape. She handles all of the family business. She has a face that is unreadable. Many companies have tried to hire her, but she likes working for herself.

Vedella business sense comes from he father who loves and admires her to no end. He recognized her gift at a very young age and he helped her hone her skills. He feels that there's no one he has ever met that can handle a business dell as well as his daughter. She has taught him a few tricks. Her passion is the art of the deal and romance is not on the top of the list for her.

Vedella feels she has a few years before being seriously involved with a man. One of her main reason for business deals is the men. She deals with more men than women. Vedella always says to friends that, "a rich southern lady has to be very choosy in picking a mate."

Vedella's mother is a very sharp woman. When she got married she decided to be a homemaker and to be on lots of committees instead of pursuing a career.

Vedella thought for a moment. "I'm so glad Georgianna is getting rid of Melvin. He is such a thorn in one's side. I can read him like a book. He wants control of Georgiana's fortune." I remember when I went up against him in a business deal. He thought he had won. But, when I came through the back door with more facts and bigger money for the client, he never knew what hit him. He hasn't cared for me since. I don't think he likes any of Georgianna friends. "Well, that's his problem.

"Let me give daddy a call before I head out the door."

"Hello mother. How are you? Vedella asked.

"I'm just fine peaches." I'm on my way to one of the committee meeting. I can't tell you which one since I go to so many. Her mother answered.
