Man Up - Page 194/268

"Don't waste your time on him. The Duke needs to man up and take responsibility for himself. He's got nothing but drama for a woman right now." Skip told his daughter.

Jayden stood flabbergasted as he watched Mia and her old-geezer boyfriend driving off. He couldn't believe that she had found his father and then dumped the man off on him and left. He looked at his father. He was disgusted with the man. He had a sudden urge to run up and hit the man, but figured it wouldn't do any good. The man didn't even recognize him and probably didn't even know he had soiled his pants. He exhaled and then found a chair and covered it up with a couple of plastic garbage bags.

"Just a second… Wait here…" He told his father and then rushed off getting a mop and bucket from the back. After filling it up with some water and soap, he quickly cleaned up the mess and then closed up his shop.

"C'mon old dude…" He said with a little more patience this time. As much as he hated admitting it, he was less irritated with his father quirkiness for suddenly appearing in his life now.

"I always said I wanted to spend more time with you when I was growing up. But had I known I was going to be cleaning up your piss, maybe I wouldn't have wanted it so much." He confided in his father after leaving the super store purchasing a box of incontinent underwear for him.

"Markus do you know where your mother is?" His father's words caused him to abruptly hit the brakes. Had the man just called him by the name of his stepson?

"I'm not…" He started but then he stopped. What was the point he thought. The man was all confused and mixed up inside of his head. It wouldn't matter if he told him who he was or not.

"No, I haven't seen m… her…" He said stopping short of referring to the other woman as mom. Jayden got his father to his condo and took him into the bathroom.

"Markus this is nice… You've done well for yourself son… Your mom and I are really proud of you and Dinah."

"Yea, well I'm glad to hear that…" Jayden responded as he helped Mr. Ellis getting undressed and then into the tub. Just like before he washed the old man's back cleaning him up and getting rid of the urine smell off of his body. After drying him off, he quickly put the man into the new disposable underwear that would protect his clothes from being soiled and then he helped him into a pair of his old jogging suit. He took Mr. Ellis to his dining/ living room quarters where he turned on the TV.
