Arriving at Mia's home it was awkward again. How would Mia think of him now that she had seen his most vulnerable side? Mia smiled. She was sure that she had fallen for him hook-line and sinker after holding him in her arms and letting him cry it out. Not too many men were man enough to show that sensitive and vulnerable side of them; and Mia loved him for trusting her enough to let his guard down.
"Aren't you going to say good night?" She asked after having sat in his car for a full twenty minutes waiting.
"Do we really have to say good night?" Jayden asked.
"We just started dating only two months ago… We've got at least four more months before going there."
"Are you really going to make me wait that long? No brownie points for tonight?" He teased making her laugh.
"Sure there are brownie points and here's your reward." She said catching him off guard as she leaned over and kissed him first. Jayden was surprised by her bold actions. However he quickly got over it and returned her kiss with just as much passion.
"Mm… so I guess you want to punish me for being good…"
"Punish you?" Mia was confused with what he was saying.
"You're going to turn the heater on, only to throw a bucket of ice water on it." He explained and Mia blushed.
"Oh… Jayden, I'm sure you'll survive. Good night." She said as she got out of his car and walked happily up to her house.

"What kiss? Geez Mia the man is twenty-seven not fourteen…" Nita reminded her. The following month had finally arrived bringing in the holiday. Everyone had gone over to Nita's parents' home for their annual 4th of July day cookout.
"Nita, you were the one who told me I should wait…" She reminded her.
"To be honest with you, I'm surprised that Jayden has lasted this long. I seriously didn't think he would be able to keep his dick in his pants for more than three days- a week tops." She spoke honestly.
"Tell you the truth we have had to be creative in thinking of ways not to go there. I mean our dates are always public places and we agreed it wouldn't be in our best interest for me to go over to his condo for now."
"One thing for certain," Nita said as she finished washing the dishes.
