"It's not a juice stand…" Jayden corrected while swallowing his giggles under his breath. His mom had a fussy way about herself that made most of her reprimands comical to him.

"Whatever… just make sure you check your supply list after the evening rush hour commute."

"Thank you mother…" Jayden smiled as he happily went back to the kitchen to help finish packing their three coolers with wheels for the morning commute.

"Water! Juice!"

"Get your ice cold water for the commute!"

"Cinnamon roll- muffins and Honey buns too…"

"Ice cold tea- bananas and oranges…"

"Just waiting for you…"

The two teens worked the morning hour crowd as they hustled and bustled about catching the rush hour buses and trains.

"M'rning boys…" A snow-capped older white woman greeted with a smile.

"M'rning Ms. Mary; the usual two oranges?" Jayden greeted her as he passed her two oranges.

"Of course, how's business?" She returned as they exchanged fruit and money.

"What can I say, it's a living…" The young teen replied making the elder lady laugh aloud as she patted him on the back. He gave her two quarters in change for the dollar she had given.

"I see you boys are learning… Have a good day and see you this evening." She replied as she headed up the three tiers of twelve-steps each to the main platform of the train station.

"Thanks son…" A young black man replied to Avery as they finished up their transaction. Avery tucked the money away into a money belt that each of them wore for business. The two teens briefly made eye contact while giving each other the thumb up. As if on cue, they began chanting their sing-song melody advertising their products and drawing attention to themselves from the crowd.

"It's supposed to be a scorcher; is your water and juice cold today?"

"It sure is Mr. Ellis… You want ice tea or water?" Jayden responded with a big grin on his face. Mr. Ellis a lawyer was one of their regular customers who often times encouraged them to keep up the good work. Jayden always enjoyed meeting his regular customers, but felt a strange connection with Mr. Ellis. He always had something positive to say.
