Just then his dad stuck his head out of the rear door of the house and yelled lunch is ready when you are? So Chad took her hand and pulled her up from the seat she had taken, let's go get some lunch and we can bring it out here if you'd like, yes, I would like that.

So they walked up to the house, as they entered his dad said, hope you weren't expecting anything fancy as he looked to her, just some cold cuts for sandwiches and some deli potato salad, "that sounds just fine, I'm used to a light lunch, I pack myself a light lunch to take to the shop, most days." and so they made sandwiches and filled their plates, Chad got them each a diet cola, and said, dad we're going to take ours out to the picnic table, care to join us.? No, that's okay son, you two go ahead, and I’d like to catch the news on TV. Alright, I'll let you know when we're leaving to take Gloria back to her place then.

On the walk back to the picnic table, Chad told her that his dad was the best, he's even taking my place at the animal shelter, volunteering because he know' s I'll be to busy, to keep up with that and a new business venture, plus my newss tands. "You’re very lucky, he is the best!"

Gloria then told him that she also had not had the time to put in at the animal shelter in her area, like she did before they were dating, but she is still helping them out in a way that they really need and that is with money for supplies and food for the animals, she said, "I have never accepted tips from my customers because I am the owner of the shop, but they try to give me tips regardless so I've put a large tip jar, with pictures of animals on it and a note saying Gloria's tips for the humane society, and believe me every customer puts money in that jar even my other girl's customers put money in, besides tipping the girls, each week I have quite a healthy sum to drop off at the shelter, and they are extremely grateful for it"

"That is wonderful," Chad said to that, "they need funds as much or more in some cases then they do volunteers.."Well yes, that's what I was thinking when I came up with this idea, and since it's working out so well, I don't want to think about taking it away. I've also had customers question me about my ties to the shelter, and how they would go about adopting an animal, and I have encouraged quite a few adoptions."
