Candee was at the spa but not before she had stopped at the very same jeweler to pick up a gift for her groom, she chose a stunning 14k gold money clip, since she had noticed that Starke used one for his bills which he kept in his front pocket. She knew he would like this one very much.

Gloria's shop was very busy as it seemed many of the women in her town were attending a wedding this weekend as she was going to be doing also. However since it was in a nearby town she doubted that it was the same wedding, but then of course this was a prominent family wedding so you never know, she thought as she worked on one of her customers, Kathy, who would have no one but Gloria herself do her hair.

As usual the shop was ab uzz with gossip as was the norm for most beauty shops, music was playing softly in the background and her thoughts drifted to Chad and the last time they had danced together, it almost made her giddy with excitement and anticipation of the wedding tomorrow and the fun they would have together.

Saturday dawned a glorious day, there had been a sprinkle of rain over night, but as Anne looked from her windows over her garden the flowers seemed to be waking up shaking thems elves off and looking their best.

Workers were putting finishing touches on everything and setting up the chairs, the runner which would form and isle would be the last to go down as it was white, and needed to be kept clean.

Candee was in the guest room which did not face the garden, she wanted it all to be a surprise, and she arrived last evening and stayed overnight, Starke stayed at the cabin. Anne suspected they talked on the phone quite late, calming each other of any last minute jitters.

Anne tapped on her door, "are you awake dear?" yes, mom I'm up, "well then I'm going downstairs to fix a tray for both of us and will be right back with coffee. “Alright, I'll take a quick shower" "alright dear, be right back" as Anne headed down the hall.

She fixed a pot of coffee and warmed some fluffy croissants in the oven, put a small vase of fresh flowers on the trays, and carried it up to the guest room; this room had a cozy sitting area with a table, and would be perfect for their light breakfast together.

They enjoyed this quiet time together, all too soon they knew the house would be buzzing with activity, Julie would be arriving with Katie in tow, with their dresses, shoes etc. to be unloaded from the car, thank goodness Cameron would arrive later with the boys.
