"I love them too, Wes. Tell them I promise to visit soon. My summer break is coming up soon and maybe I'll visit then."
"That would be great. I won't mention it to them until you make definite plans to come."
"Okay. Tell the girls hello and give them a big kiss and hug for Auntie Alyssa," I said before hanging up the phone.
After ending the call with Weston, I decided to wash my hair and give myself a mani and pedi for my date later that night. The rest of the day flew by, until David called and reminded me he would be picking me up in an hour.
After a bath, I put on black skinny jeans and paired it with a red halter top that tied at the neck. Leaving my hair to brush my shoulders in soft loose curls, I put on hoop earrings with a matching bracelet that compliment my outfit. Spraying on my favorite fragrance, Happy by Clinique, I stepped into black open-toe three-inch heels. The first thing David did when he arrived was to pull me into his arms and kiss me passionately.
"We could stay here and order in if you like," he suggested.
"Well, I did want to see a movie," I said as I picked up my purse from the coffee table. I was trying to prolong being intimate with him as long as possible.
"Anything for my baby," he said opening the door. He locked up on our way out. I had to admit David looked great in his black and gold Rocawear outfit. It was a far cry from his suit and tie attire during the week. His thin mustache was shaped to perfection. His green eyes were sexy and alluring.
And, I would have been happy looking into those green eyes, if only I could stop thinking about the hazel eyes that I dreamed about every time I closed my eyes at night. I had relived our illicit encounter in my dreams. I couldn't ever let David know how another man was affecting my thoughts or let Drake know how much he had become a part of my thoughts. I needed to make things right! Starting that night, I would focus my all on David; he deserved no less.
We arrived at Rotellis and had a delicious meal that left us satisfied, but not stuffed. Their light cuisine was made to be satisfying and filling at the same time. After leaving Rotellis, we left our parked car and walked one block to the movie theater. As I laid my head on his shoulder in the darkened theater, I tried to concentrate on the movie. His hands had other ideas. I grabbed his hand to stop it from inching further up my thigh.
