Kill Fest - Page 118/133

Once seated within the soft leather of her friend's car, Aurora laid her head back and closed her eyes. The hum of the Corvettes power plant seemed to tremble throughout her body giving the weary warrior an almost relaxing massage. Her body tender from the last few days of little rest and rough sex was starting to take its toll on the 30 year old. Wisps of dark hair lay over her face, tickling her nose as her unbound strands drift down from her head.

"I like your hair like that."

"Like what?" she asked in response to his comment.

"Down and parted in the middle," he said shifting the transmission into its next gear.

"Now you sound like my girlfriend Kimba."

"So tell me what's she like, you haven't said too much about her."

"She's sweet, caring and loves to be with people."

"So she's everything you're not."

"Yeah…..pretty much"

As the stunning black car roared its way toward the exit, its two inhabitance engaged in conversation were unaware of the dark menace looming at the gate. The Angel of Death knew they had to slow and come to a full stop upon the pay booth, within the vehicle they would be completely defenseless to his attack.

"Do you love her, Kimba that is?" Stryker asked as he turned God's Nightmare onto the ramp leading toward the exit.

"I do, I really do. She's everything I'm not…..and yet she still loves me. I don't even know why," Aurora said as her voice cracked a little with sadness.

"She sounds good." Stryker commented as he started to slow the black beast down as the toll booth came into view. The little booth was nothing more than a metal and glass coffin for its murdered man within as he lay just out of sight of the oncoming vehicle. "Where the hell is this guy now?" Stryker remarked as his passenger opened her eyes gazing on the attendant's quarters too.

"The little guy's most likely taking another shit, looks like our overnight stay is free after all."

"Yeah I don't think so." Stryker said stopping the car fifty feet from the booth. "Something's wrong here," he added as he roared the engine in place.

"I thought that before Matt, the guy's back in the bathroom shitting, whacking who cares, we have a pale face killer out there looking for our asses. But he don't know we are here."

"How did he know we were in the motel, that very motel?"

"Ah, you may have a point there……I would have never even thought of myself being in such a shit hole," Aurora said with a smug grin.
