That night, Aurora rode her bike to the club and sat in wait. She knew that if he did show, that he would not be set up in the main dance hall of the club. He and his men would most likely have a room all to their own. The fact that it was a strip club ran in Aurora's favor and that his men would not have their full attention on him the whole time and that it could be her one moment to make the money shot.

By midnight he did not show. She placed herself in a darker spot in the parking lot where she could hide her bike behind a van and she could view the door through the vehicle's driver's window looking straight through to the passenger's glass. At this vantage point, she was invisible to the door. 1 am, 2am and no Mendoza, it didn't look good and by 3am, she knew he was going to be a no show.

She thought about going into the club and having a little peek at the girls but if he was not coming, then she should go and get rest and try again the next night. In all that time waiting, she ran through her head how she would make the score and run it over and over in every approach. By 4am the club was making its last calls as a disappointed Aurora fired up her Ninja and rode into the night, unaware that 3 hours behind her at 1am Las Vegas time, the game's first score was already being made.

He was more of a card player then hired gun but enjoyed the life of a man who could kill at any time and get away with it. Jimmy Vegas, he called himself and when not sitting at the card table, sleeping with cocktail girls or tooling around in his giant 1972 Cadillac, he played bounty hunter who also fancied himself a hits for kicks Las Vegas assassin. Nevertheless he enjoyed carrying his twin Berettas everywhere he went and boast that he was the city's best known hit man, although no one really believed him and only knew him as a card shark. Tonight though, Jimmy would bring his guns into play and track down a man who was set free by a crooked judge only hours before.

It was just a little after midnight when Jimmy left his poker table and headed upstairs to room 621 where Steve Roper thought he would be safe. The news hounds had tracked him all day and he was in hiding after his big win in court. He had just stepped out for a bucket of ice when he met with death at the hands of the card tolling, two guns fisted Jimmy Vegas who was back in his seat before anyone even knew a murder had occurred. Less than one hour later, the self-appointed "King of The Vegas Strip" picked up a 23 year old blonde and her short brown haired friend and had them in his suite as hotel security found the body. An hour later, two young lovely's lay resting under a silk sheet as Jimmy Vegas opens his laptop and cues up the Kill Fest web site email. Just as one girl summons him back to bed, he pushes the send button making him the first player to score in the game.
