"Hi Aunt Aurora," the two girls cried as their mother's sister entered their home. "Look Aunt Aurora, look what Mommy got us," the girls called out in almost unison as they spun around in circles displaying their new pink and blue dresses.
"Oh how pretty you both look!" Aurora said as the girls danced about her.
"Do you like my dress the best Aunt Aurora?" the elder child asked.
"Oh you both look pretty, but you know blue is my favorite color," Aurora said giving a little wink to the older child Tammy who had just turned 7 years old. Her 5 year old sister danced about in her little pink frilly dress trying to capture all of the attention from her only aunt as the two girls fought for the affections of their mother's sister.
"Girls, please go play. I must speak with your aunt now," said a voice off to their right as Athena entered the room.
"But mommy, we haven't seen Aunt Aurora in so long," the younger of the girls Jacky replied.
"Do as I say…now girls!" their mother said in a stern tone.
"Oh…..alright," the two said again in almost perfect sync with each other as they went into the other room.
"We need to talk," Athena said in a harsh tone.
"Ah…yeah….ok but can't I see the girls first?"
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What….I had not shown up here drunk in days, what do you have to bitch about?"
"You dumb ass Bitch….I saw you on the TV."
"Ah….what?" Aurora asked hoping that it was not what she thought.
"You killed that drug dealer didn't you?"
"Ah….what drug dealer are you talking about?" she questioned trying not to give herself away.
"Dumb bitch, I saw you on the news, young woman walks into club and blows away a drug lord and his men."
"Yeah I heard of that, what would make you think it was me?" Praying that her glimmered discuses was more them enough to hide her from those that knew her. "And don't call me bitch!" Aurora added. "You know I hate that word."
"Oh, then that girl just happened to have the same red and black rose tattoo as you….and on her left arm too…..the whole damn arm?"
"Maybe….. If I have it, maybe some other girl had it done too."
"Oh come on Aurora, don't play me like this, I know what you did for the CIA….that you killed people as part of your job….but now what the fuck are you doing?"
