"Sorry friend, but good old Jimmy Vegas has things to do and people to see tonight," he said as he slowly backed his way out of the room.

"Like hell, you're running out on me. Sit you ass back down and take your cards," the big man added as the others in the room as well as the private black jack dealer all moved to the other side of the small room expecting hell to fly.

"Come now friend, it's time to say goodnight…..and a good night it was….well for me anyway," Jimmy said sarcastically as the big man made his way from the small card table to the man standing near the door.

"Oh friend, I wouldn't do that if I were you," Jimmy said as his gleeful smile slowly vanished, his tone deepened and his eyes widened.

"Yeah and why is that little man," the cowboy said as stood his ground. The others in the room knew Jimmy Vegas and suspected this conflicts outcome. They were not disappointed when the slim black man reached under his crisp clean jacket with both hands crisscrossed and withdrew twin Berettas.

"So friend…do you really want to fuck with me or can we call this a night," the always well-dressed assassin asked pointing his pistols directly at the man's face without ever blinking and eye.

Facing down the nose of two weapons at once was a little too much for even the big Texan, who backed off and retook his place at the card table. "Easy little man…I was just fooling," he said with a forced grin placing himself into his seat.

"I thought so, and you have a nice night too," Jimmy said as he backed out of the little room and onto the main casino floor where he restored his clone Berettas to their resting place.

With a brisk step, he headed upstairs to his hotel room from where he made his latest dwelling. Never staying in one location for too long, the man who named himself after the city in which he made his playground, lived the fast paced nightlife as a high stakes gambler beating others out of their earnings. A thrill that gave the young card shark a feeling of absolute power only equaled to that of the part time hit man he fancied himself out to be.

When not playing poker or back jack, Jimmy Vegas could be found consorting with one or more of the many and willing show girls and cocktail waitresses from any given hotel casino. The city was indeed his for the taking economically, sexually and when it suited him…..a place to track down and murder for hire anyone willing to meet his high demand price. Unlike his opposition, Jimmy only killed for profit once or twice a year but thought of himself as a hard core hit man nonetheless. It was a lifestyle he so embraced though he took part in it very little. Yet he saw himself as the overall winner of Kill Fest despite his lack of skills in comparison to his adversaries.
