That night Timothie kissed her, a kiss she would remember for the rest of her life, but it was not enough to keep Alannah in Dalkey. I can no longer stay here and suffer the abuse I have put up with at the hands of my father, I am sorry my dearest Timothie, but I must bid you farewell.
