Romancing a Stalker - Page 26/57

William followed as the man led him through some woods that led to an isolated spot near the beach. He could hear the surf as it pounded against the shore. William had his hand on the 38-caliber pistol he had concealed under his coat. Before the man could turn around William fired a shot that struck the man directly in the back of his head. It killed the man instantly. William wasted no time in taking the man's wallet with his ID and his car and house keys. This guy must have been a drug dealer because he had a brief case with $12,000 Australian Dollars in his possession. He pulled the man further into the woods where he covered him with beach sand and piled some dry brush over him.

Soon William would be wanted in four countries for murder. He figured it would take some time before the body of his last victim was discovered. Now his new ID said he was Jock Farmington.

William casually walked back to the tourist path. There wasn't anyone in sight and he continued the tour. The trail ended at Bronte Beach. This was all a game to William. Human lives meant nothing to him. He knew this would be his last taste of freedom if he were ever captured. He once vowed to officials in Wakefield Prison if he ever escaped from that "Hell Hole" he would never be brought back there alive.

William was feeling pretty smug by now. He was convicted of killing two women in England and escaped. He had committed two murders inside the United States and escaped. He killed a police officer in Canada and escaped. He had only been in Australia two days and already he committed another murder and was $12,000 Australian Dollars richer. He wasted no time in memorizing everything that was on Jock Farmington's license.

He waited till it was almost dark and saw a lone car in the parking area. He thought it might belong to Jock Farmington. He was right. The key unlocked the door. He drove the car back to hotel parking lot where he was staying.

The next morning William had a plan so he could find out more about the man he murdered. He disguised himself. He drove a block from where the address on the drivers license of the dead man. He pretended to be an insurance investigator. He knocked on the house next door to where the dead man lived.

"Good morning madam. I am an insurance investigator for Kiwi Insurance Ltd. I am seeking information about one of your neighbors," he said as an elderly lady answered the door.
