After a string of I-knew-its and I-told-you-so's he asked, "So what are you going to do?"
Dean reiterated the obvious-Burgess was less than positive and the picture he sort-of identified was years old. Additionally, his agenda was questionable-his interest was more in a reward than anything else. Admittedly, the identification elevated the entire business to a higher, more serious level of concern. However, Dean possessed no cogent thoughts on what to do with this new information. He was already topping Jonathan Winston's list by even suggesting a connection between Byrne and the money. "Let's sleep on it and see what makes sense in the morning," he said with a yawn as he rose.
"That's the problem with you young people," Fred muttered, remaining in his chair and picking up his notebook. "You give up too soon."
