Chapter 780: A Blocked Perspective

The entrance of the Temple Instance Dungeon was guarded by some fallen guardians who appeared similar to the dragons. They were completely green and stared at the entrance, attacking anyone that attempted to enter the temple.

Lu Li had also visited this place several times in his past life and had once died at their hands.

Logically speaking, the monsters at the entrance of the Instance Dungeons were all lowest level. This was the common instinct of most players, but Dawn used this subvert their expectations.

Of course, these fallen guardians didn't compare to the stone men at the Molten Core Instance Dungeon.

As long as they didn't underestimate their enemy, they wouldn't be too much of a problem.

There were many flaws to Azure Sea Breeze, but he never underestimated his enemies. When he didn't know his opponent's strength, he would carefully take out a long bow and shoot at them.

Two of the fallen guardians began running towards them, butthe group rushed in and killed them effortlessly.

However, they soon realized a new problem. These two fallen guardians did not collide with each other and could stand on top of each other. Did this meant that there were many of them stacked on top of one another?

Regardless, they slowly grinded through the guardians and eventually cleared the path.

"Hachi Chan, is there anything about the Instance Dungeon quest that you would like to share?" Lu Li asked.

"There are a few quests. Would you like to do them with me?" Hachi Chan reported.

The number of quests in her list was greater than the number of players present.

Of while completing a quest, you could continually trigger several other related quests. Hachi Chan could keep doing quests every day without worrying about running out of them.

Lu Li received a System Prompt asking if he would accept the quest sharing.

The general gist behind them was that the many dragons who were responsible for guarding the temple had been corrupted. The Blood God's spirit grew stronger every day and the players who entered the temple needed to prevent this disaster.

There were also a few named Bosses that they needed to kill.

The first was Prophet Jammal'an, a Hakkari and Atal'ai Troll leader who had received a portion of Hakkar's blood. He had injected some of the blood into the body of a Green Dragon, allowing him to generate enough blood to bring Hakkar into Azeroth.

Of course, such a thing couldn't be allowed to happen. They needed to kill Jammal'an the Priest before he made any further progress.

There were many obstacles before that had already been completed by Hachi Chan. Now, all they needed to was kill Prophet Jammal'an.

The second quest involved Eranikus, who was one of King Ysera's main spouses and a Temple Watcher.

The blood of Hakkar that had been injected by the Atal'ai trolls into the Green Dragon's body had a devastating effect. The dragons, who were initially the wardens of these Atal'ai Trolls, were corrupted by Hakkar's essence and transformed into nightmarish creatures.

Eranikus had been injected with the most blood and as a result was distorted beyond imagination.

After Jammal'an's death, they would be required to find Eranikus and get rid of him.

If they were successful, they would be rewarded with the Dragon Blood essence of Eranikus. This was the reason why Hachi Chan had wanted to complete this Instance Dungeon in the first place – it was said that her dragon could grow by eating it.

There were ten players here and if each player received one, she would have a total of ten.

"When we complete the quest, everyone should give this item to Hachi Chan. Is everyone okay with that?" Lu Li asked in advance. If he was with the usual crew, he wouldn't bother, but since there were so many new members around, he had to be fair. Otherwise, they would complain about the corruption in Ruling Sword leadership.

This was not an unreasonable request anyway. After all, the Instance Dungeon Scroll had been provided by Hachi Chan and so were the quests. As such, everyone happily agreed.

The final quest was for the Blood God Hakkar. The Atal'ai Troll Priest had obtained most of his bones and was ready to let him die and be reborn.

His children had already begun to appear in the area.

Hachi Chan had a Hakkar egg in her hand. Lu Li and others needed to place this sacred egg in the holy place of the temple, which would forcibly call Hakkar ahead of time.

This was the only way to summon the incarnation of Hakkar. Hachi Chan had acquired it during the process of acquiring the Instance Dungeon Scroll.

The entrance led to an open hal,l and in the dim light, they could already see the corrupted dragons. Most of them were hatchlings, but there were also a few actual dragons.

Of course, these monsters were all fallen and had to be killed.

Azure Sea Breeze shot an arrow to aggro some of them and was met by a spray of venom and magic.

These ranged monsters generally kept their distance from the players. If you ran towards them, they would continue to retreat until they were at a safe distance away.

"Block their line of sight," Lu Li reminded.

Azure Sea Breeze immediately ducked behind the corner, blocking the Dragons' vision of him.

They would eventually run around the corner to continue their attack, but would then be in melee range. This also forced them to stand closer together, allowing the others to safely attack.

There seemed to be some kind of boundary in the road ahead; it looked like a dead end.

The Boss on the upper level of the temple had to be defeated in order to advance to the next stage. As Lu Li looked around, he noticed a few staircases to the upper level in the hall. He did not waste time trying to find the way and decisively chose the second one on the left hand side, which was the correct route.

This Upper Temple was completely filled with Trolls in groups of three or five. Each of group had either Ice or Arcane attacks and were all ranged units. However, due to the terrain of the area, it wasn't difficult to pull all the monsters and clear them out.

After a few moments spent regenerating, Azure Sea Breeze rushed down the nearest passageway.

As everyone followed behind, they came face-to-face with the first Boss – Zuroll. It was a bit of an overstatement to call him a Boss, but he did have 70,000HP. His skills were rather mild, and they just needed to be wary of his debuff stacking too many times.

After the Boss fell, Remnant Dream happily looted his corpse.
