Chapter 113: Root of troubles??
The bladesmith then took out a thick kite shield, its surface was smooth and curved, with its bottom edge slightly sharp. Behind the shield, there were 4 buckles attached, one of them movable as compared to the other 3 that was fixed. It weighed about 4 or 5 jin when held.
He began to explain, that it was a composite shield, made of 5 layers of thin steel stitching. It could block weapons and even be used to attack. With the internal layers, the structure was solid and strong and could withstand impact by spreading the force out. When testing, the user would only feel a slight vibration. Hammers could not break it, and it was a good defense against axes.
Zhang Xiao Qiang took both the blade and shield towards the basement. He was extremely satisfied with this 2 equipment. He ordered one more set, this first set would be for Yuan Yi, and the other for Su Qian. As for Yang Ke’er? Giving her a strong mace would be for her to smash to her heart’s content.
By now, Zhang Xiao Qiang had already forgotten about the additional woman, until he walked into the room and discovered something off.
There were now 4 women in the room, with a mahjong table set up, and all 4 were seated and playing. Yang Ke’er was making noise, Yuan Yi had not the slightest ripple on her face, seemingly bored. Su Qian still had that careful expression, watching Yang Ke’er as she played her tiles, pushing out some soft sweets. The 4th woman had the most in front of her. It was possible that Yang Ke’er was losing the most, as she pulled out a bag of sweets to open up, her eyes still staring at her tiles.
Zhang Xiao Qiang did not disturb them and closed the door softly. He walked to the end of the corridor and knocked his head on the wall. Raising it, he wanted to knock once more, but the pain in his forehead made him give up the stupid idea. He went to the living room and lit up a cigarette, which was soon finished. He remained in his contemplation for a while more, before standing up to heading back to the room.
When he walked in, they were still oblivious to his presence. He walked behind Su Qian with an expressionless face. Yuan Yi saw him and wanted to stand up until he shot her down with a look.
“Bang!” The shield and blade were thrown to the table, and only then did Yang Ke’er discover Zhang Xiao Qiang had walked up to her. She stood up and lowered her head. How could she know that this sort of thing would piss him off? Why didn’t she think of playing it more discreetly, like this, wasn’t it asking for a beating from Zhang Xiao Qiang?
Zhang Xiao Qiang eyed the new woman coolly while he spoke: “The rest of you go back to your rooms!”
Yang Ke’er went out obediently, with Yuan Yi and Su Qian following behind.
“Yuan Yi, hold up!” Zhang Xiao Qiang called out, before pointing to the weapons on the table: “Those are for you, take them!”
Yuan Yi saw that Zhang Xiao Qiang had some weapons specially prepared for her, and her eyes lit up, as she stepped forward to receive them. When she went out, she even made sure to lock the room behind her.
Zhang Xiao Qiang then walked to the sofa by the door, and propped one of his legs up on his knees, as he carefully assessed the woman in front of him.
She was beautiful and extremely flirtatious looking. Her hair was lush and long, reaching her waist, with a slight tinge of yellow in them. She did take good care of them though, and as the moonlight shone on her hair, they positively radiated. One lock of hair fell down perfectly just above her right eye. Her skin was fair, as fair as crystal, giving one the feel that she might break apart just by blowing at her.
Her face was clean, without any noticeable marks, and as she stood there silently, her entire lotus-like frame made it enticing to touch her. Yet, at the same time, there was this unfounded fear, that should she be touched, she might just break apart, and it felt better to leave her alone in the moonlight.
Her eyes were slightly sultry, the corners deep. Her pupils were dark like black pearls, and they were bright and clear. When they moved, they were like tireless little birds moving about, and when they were peaceful, they were like magical stones that seemed to draw one in.
A little nose, that was sharp at the right places, and seemingly perfectly sculpted. Every corner, every angle seemed to meet just perfectly, and with such a visage, it does cause one to wonder, what else but the doting love of God could have crafted such a masterpiece?
Her cherry lips were slightly lifted at the corners, revealing 2 rows of bright, white teeth. It was like a rose blooming in the dawn of morning, with dew hidden within the petals, and such an image would carve itself into the minds of even the least creative person.
Her exquisite face was plump in the right places, and thin in others, matching her perfect features, looking like a delicate flower right out of a painting.
She was still wearing the silk shirt from earlier, except that this time, there was a dark red shawl on her shoulders, draping over them, ending right above the area where her breasts were. They were lifted due to the curvature of her breasts, and the most captivating part was that her magnificent peaks seemed to be bursting out of her clothes, not willing to be tied down by the small and constraining space.
She had worn some undergarments this time, but her smooth and shiny thighs drew Zhang Xiao Qiang in, especially her thighs. When the wind blew, the silk shirt would just barely cover some parts. This sort of teasing image was even more powerfully arousing than when she wasn’t wearing anything before. He felt a rush of blood to his head, as though his nose would start bleeding anytime.
This woman was not as cautious as Su Qian or Yuan Yi had been, she just stood there brazenly, eyeing Zhang Xiao Qiang back without any fear or numbness in her eyes. Her gaze was particularly sultry, and from the time that Zhang Xiao Qiang had entered, she had been accentuating every charm that she had. It was obvious she was trying to seduce him, and control him thoroughly.
“What’s your name?” He opened his mouth, he had to take his mind away. He had not much experience in dealing with such women on a frontal basis and was not like Brother Long and the rest who were well-versed in such situations. After all, he was still an otaku. His understanding of women came from all sorts of information on his computer in the past.
Such a beauty, one that Zhang Xiao Qiang had never laid eyes upon in real life. Compared to her, all the idols and celebrities he knew about previously were simply like farm girls. This sort of woman, he truly feared.
If he had come across such a woman in the past? He would definitely be hiding in a corner to check out her out, and when meeting up with some friends, he could talk about her. But if he was asked to go up to her to make contact? It would definitely have been impossible. There was nothing he could say if such an absolutely stunning beauty was in front of him. It was a huge sort of pressure on him, and he knew, he couldn’t even handle normal girls, what’s more, this was simply a 100/100 specimen of the human species. Other than being mocked at, what would he have gained?
Yet now, even in the apocalypse, all the more he did not want to mess with her. Although amongst Brother Long’s hierarchy, the ones with strength would possess women, he was afraid, afraid that he would be enthralled by her day in and out. If it had been at the start when he arrived, seeing such a woman gifted to him, he might have rejected half-heartedly, before entangling with her all night. However, he had just come out on top against a D2 and S2, and he was nearly torn to shreds by the S2. Such a life-threatening situation had shocked his senses yet again. No matter how much he loved beautiful women, he loved his life more. To him, indulging in a woman was like a slow-acting poison.
“My name is Shangguan Qian Yun, Master, will you be able to protect me?” Her voice was thick and husky, exuding sex with every word she spoke. As she spoke, it was like moan after moan, causing his heart to itch. He was already trying to keep his eyes on her forehead, trying his best not to bring his eyes towards anything below that. Now that she spoke with such a tender and young, yet moaning tone, his little buddy immediately fought to stand, pushing against his trousers.
“The root of all troubles!” Zhang Xiao Qiang assessed this boiling pot of problems right in front of him and cried inwardly. He finally understood how those kings in history had caused their kingdoms to decline. It was these sort of troubles! Once they met them, they would lose all rationality. How would any man still be ambition or valor if he was stuck in the recesses of someone so alluring?!
