Chapter 244 – Interrogation (3)

Shen Yanxiao looked at Qi Xia with astonishment. Xiao Yan and Shen Jue were both her disguised appearances, after using some face-changing items. Apart from the height, the disguised characteristics have really nothing in common. Otherwise, she would not feel safe entering the Archer Branch. How on earth did these guys find them similar?

She was certain that the sudden appearance of Qi Xia and others tonight was not a coincidence. When she left the dormitory, Tang Nazhi was obviously asleep, but right now, he was here and neatly dressed. She’s afraid these four guys had long guessed something was up and were just waiting for her to expose a flaw.

And tonight, she had totally exposed herself.

“If I’m not mistaken, the Warlock that Ouyang Huanyu has been tracking should also be you.” Qi Xia smilingly looked at Shen Yanxiao. His slender figure under the moonlight were exceptionally handsome but his smile seemed a little different at this moment.

With every speculation Qi Xia had made, Yan Yu, Yang Xi and Tang Nazhi’s sight uniformly fell on Shen Yanxiao’s body.

Obviously, these speculations had already existed in their minds for a long time.

Particularly Tang Nazhi, whose face held a very complex expression. It seemed that he wanted to stop Qi Xia from pressuring Shen Yanxiao, but also wanted to understand the background of their good brother. Thus, he had a look of hesitance plastered on his face the whole time.

Shen Yanxiao looked at the four people and her heart held some hesitations. From the very beginning, these four people had been expressing great kindness towards her and tonight, if not for their timely appearance, she feared she would had already fallen into Ouyang Huanyu’s hands. Furthermore, at the end of the previous class test, Qi Xia and Tang Nazhi, even without knowing the situation, had lied without batting an eye, helping her conceal her flaw in the test.

Should she be honest with them?

Shen Yanxiao was still unsure, since these four guys were not average people after all. Behind them were the forces of the four great clans. In the future, when she inherits the Vermillion Bird Clan, would these people become her enemies or friends?

No one could determine that.

There was a still silence around the garden pavilion of the Holy Roland School. Every eye was stuck on Shen Yanxiao’s body, everyone was waiting for her answer.

Shen Yanxiao bit her lips. If she used her curse technique on them, perhaps she could escape this dilemma, but, for some reason, her heart didn’t want to do it to these four brats.

While Shen Yanxiao was internally struggling, Tang Nazhi walked over to her side. Somewhat irritably scratching his head, he bent her over under his arm.

“Forget it. If Little Jue doesn’t want to talk, don’t force him. He naturally has a reason for not telling us anything. What do we want to achieve by asking so many questions? Would his identity affect our friendship?” Since the start of school, he has a good relationship with Shen Yanxiao. The whole time he’d been taking care of Shen Yanxiao, he had also been clear about that fact that Shen Yanxiao had always helped him deal with their Pharmaceutical classes. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to stay in the purple class.

“So what if he’s Xiao Yan? What about being the Warlock? Don’t forget that if it wasn’t for him, we’d probably still have to climb up from the red class.” Tang Nazhi didn’t like seeing Shen Yanxiao under stress. After getting used to the lad’s easy-going expressions, this kind of depressed look was too hard on the eyes.

This wasn’t the first time that Tang Nazhi embraced Shen Yanxiao’s shoulder, but it was the first  time Shen Yanxiao felt the warmth from Tang Nazhi’s embrace.
