Chapter 275 - Three Thousand Feet White Hair

"Impossible, impossible…." Ao Shanshan raised her head and mumbled as she looked at the battle in the sky that seemed like there were flashes of lightning storming in the clouds.

In mid-air, Zhong Yue was clashing with the Martial Masters; the fight had gotten even more intense as the speed and ferocity of their airborne acrobatics mounted to a fevering pitch. All of a sudden, a corpse fell from the sky and crashed onto the ground, it was a Martial Master!

Four Martial Masters as a group would be invincible!

Four Martial Masters joining hands together could wipe off any Qi Practitioners of the same level, this wasn't an assumption, but something universally acknowledged by all races alike!

Engaging the Martial Masters in frontal combats was a perilous affair. Even for a Qi Practitioner that that had cultivated the Wan Xiang Secret Realms' power of myriad to every corner of their body or was equipped with defensive soul weapons and armors, they were still unable to contend against the Martial Masters!

Under the Martial Masters' barrage of attacks, the power of myriad would be crushed, their defensive totem patterns would be smashed, and their defensive soul weapons and armors would be destroyed!

This was why even the strongest physique celestial race in the West Barren feared going against Martial Masters in frontal combat.

Furthermore, the Zhong Li Race was also a celestial race; their mortal bodies were naturally strong. This was even more so for the Martial Masters of the Zhong Li Celestial Race who could manipulate their mortal bodies to the extreme — the Zhong Li Celestial Race was definitely the superior race in the ways of the mortal body among all the other races!

Every minutia of the body of a Martial Master – muscle, bone, skin, hair, and even sweat – from the Zhong Lie Celestial Race could be transformed into deadly soul weapons!

A strong Qi Practitioner could move the mountains and seas with their arcane power while a true Martial Master could carry the mountain on their backs and scoop the seas with their palms!

Death would be the only ending for anyone who was surrounded by four Martial Masters!

And now, this situation that many would see Zhong Yue's death as the only outcome was taking a shocking turn.

In mid-air, Zhong Yue was maneuvering like a frenetic bolt of lightning as he continued to defend against the simultaneous assaults of four Martial Masters. When the other Martial Masters caught up to him, he would have extricated himself from the encirclement of the previous Martial Masters and engaged with another group of Martial Masters. In the end, he would only commit against four to five Martial Masters at a time.

The Martial Masters were incredibly strong, four or five Martial Masters could easily break down his defenses to inflict damage to his mortal body. The skin of his body was soon becoming a canvas filled with cuts and blood.

However, what was more terrifying was not the Martial Masters but Zhong Yue!

Zhong Yue's attainments in martial arts were no weaker than any one of them, while the power of his skills was way stronger than the Martial Masters.

With every move of his, a Martial Master would be slain dead, all of whom died in different ways as Zhong Yue employed a multitude of methods to deal with his opponents.

Some killed when the five melodic voices rammed into their head and had their Yuan Shen killed directly. Some died as he launched a barrage of punches and crushed the life force in their body – it was a tragic death.

There was also one who got too close to Zhong Yue and was sliced into three parts by Zhong Yue’s sights!

Some were pierced by the sword feathers of the Golden Crow Wing and were dismembered into pieces!

And there was also one who was torn away like a ragged doll by Zhong Yue’s three talons.

The Martial Masters can make thirty-six different hand seals with one hand, each hand seal resembled a way of attack; and with two hands together, the hand seals they could make would be much more, but even so, it wouldn’t be as much as Zhong Yue’s skills.

Zhong Yue could launch his skills out from any part of his body, catching his opponents off guard and his skills were way more abstruse than the other Qi Practitioners, stronger and better than the skills’ conventional forms.

For example, using the same power of the Wu Xing Secret Realm, Zhong Yue's five elemental power could take the form of the five melodic sounds. Using five forms of soul weapons — bell, lute, flute, zither and drum, Zhong Yue could launch out the five melodic sounds and struck directly at his opponents' Yuan Shen in their minds.

Kuang——

Every time the musical instruments rang, the five melodic sounds would strike into his opponent's head and slain him dead, and a lifeless corpse would fell down from the sky.

He could also use the five elemental power from the Wu Xing Secret Realm and morph them into five swords, each carrying a different attribute — Fire, Wood, Earth, Water, Gold. In addition to the Sword Qi formed by the sword totem patterns of the【Great Boundless Sword Qi】, the five swords were unstoppable!

He could also form into the【Five Finger Mountain Mark】, slamming down his palm as if there were five mountains crashing down.

He could also cast the five elemental power as the【Five Dragon Divine Fire Cage】to imprison his opponents and smelt them away.

Not only that, he was still getting stronger and more proficient as time went on. His control of the five elemental power was growing smoother and more delicate; the Xuan Wu totem patterns on his bell was getting stronger in defense and lasted longer; the zither string turned into sword silks and infused into the sounds, stealthily killing his opponent!

All of these skills allowed him to stay undefeatable against the Martial Masters and even more, taking them down one by one!

And this was only the five elemental power of the Wu Xing Secret Realm; he also used the myriad power of the Wan Xiang Secret Realm, but it wasn't shown as it was used to strengthen his mortal body. It infused into his blood and surged all over his body, allowing him to heighten his strength in any part of his body as he desired!

His power was mixed with the totem patterns of the Immortal Body, catapulting his strength to a point higher than the other 23 Martial Masters he was fighting against. He has unleashed the power of the Wan Xiang Secret Realm to its utmost potential.

While the power of the Shen Cai Secret Realm was the core of Kui Zheng’s Immortal Body, and Zhong Yue managed to attain a thing or two out from it.

His mortal body was continually morphing and changing sizes. This was the abstrusity of the Shen Cai Secret Realm contained in the Immortal Body which he had successfully mastered. This allowed him the ability to extricate himself from the Martial Masters' encirclement with ease.

In order to successfully cultivate the Immortal Body, one would have to possess an incredibly strong cultivation base, as well as impressive talent and perception. Even the majority of the Kui Long Celestial Race members couldn't succeed in acquiring the Immortal Body.

Although Zhong Yue didn't have the Immortal Body, his many experiences during his cultivation had given him a deeper understanding of the Immortal Body than most Kui Long Celestial Race Qi Practitioners!

His Yin Yang Secret Realm was not only far superior to most other Qi Practitioners, but it was even better than the gods' in certain regards. This is because the latter could only cultivate Yin and Yang Qi in their secret realms, whereas Zhong Yue cultivated Pure Yin and Yang Qi. This bolstered the strength of his Yin Yang Secret to the point that his Sword Eye could slice apart anything that its gaze swept across!

In addition to his Dao Yi Secret Realm that coordinated the strength of his other four extraordinarily powerful secret realms, he hadn't met with anyone in the same cultivation level that could stand against him when he erupted the dormant power of the Dao Yi Secret Realm!

Ao Shanshan had never met with such an appalling powerful human before. Even the Martial Masters couldn't believe that there would be someone strong enough to survive their attacks in frontal combat, not to mention also defeating and killing them!

The Martial Masters were getting fewer and fewer in number. After a few moments, there were only seven Martial Masters left in the sky. All the other sixteen were slain dead by Zhong Yue!

As of this moment, Zhong Yue was already ranked number two in the Warrior Board, only a step away from the first place.

“A battle that tramples the warriors….” Ao Shanshan mumbled softly.

In just one battle, Zhong Yue killed over nine hundred cultivators, the corpses and severed body parts in this Lesser Void World City were meant to be the stepping stones for him to forge his name and reputation.

Chi——

The Yin Yang Sword Qi was like two thin threads of light rays as they slew the last standing Martial Master. One golden and one white light ray returned to Zhong Yue's eyes, while the Sword Eye totem patterns revolved like gears within them. There was a round sun in his left eye and a bright moon in his right eye; the totem patterns revolved around the sun and moon as they gradually slowed to halt. The sublime glow of the Yin and Yang Eyes slowly faded to reveal his dark and deep pupils

once again.

Rains of blood fell upon the Lesser Void World City. The light drizzle of red was accompanied by the heavy odor of iron as the city was transformed into a city of blood and death.

What was strange was that the corpses in the city started to vanish one after another. Even the blood seemed to percolate through the nearby structures to disappear. Soon, all signs of the ferocious battle that was waged here were erased; there wasn't a single impression of the battle that was left in the city – the corpses and blood vanished, and the city was returned to its perfect condition.

The only ones standing in the whole city were Qiu Jin'er, Ao Shanshan, and Zhu Jushan who's mouth was agape in shock.

Cold sweat rushed out from Zhu Jushan's head and soaked his clothes as if he had just come out from a shower. The battle shocked him greatly. He didn't participate in the combined assault on Zhong Yue previously with the other Qi Practitioners as his pride of being a listed figure in the Warrior Board as well as a proud scion of the Zhu Jian Celestial Race prevented him from doing so. It was

, ironically, this pride that saved him from death when pride was the agent of death for all those Qi Practitioners that had attacked Zhong Yue.

Zhu Jushan estimated that if he had attacked Zhong Yue, his ending would not be much different than the other Qi Practitioners, at most, the best outcome was that he would escape away like how he did; but he could never defeat and kill Zhong Yue.

Zhong Yue alighted to the ground and looked at the Godlike Board. He frowned as he couldn't find his name on it.

"Not even this is enough to enter the Godlike Board?"

Zhong Yue was a little bit disappointed, he looked at the Warrior Board and found his name listed first. His brows raised and he sighed, "Thought so, I can't enter the Godlike Board if I don't unleash my full power…."

A frosty chill seeped into their bones as Zhu Jushan, and Ao Shanshan, who stood on the side heard his whinings. Zhu Jushan gave a hollow laugh and said, "Zhong Shan Clan member, don't you boast, what do you mean you haven't unleashed your full power? All of the cultivators in this city, other than you and ourselves, have all been killed by you! The other cultivators that just came into the Lesser Void World stayed right outside of the city didn't even dare to come in!"

At this moment, there were Qi Practitioners from all the other races standing in mid-air outside of the city. They only dared to look from afar and didn't have the courage to enter the city. They were afraid that Zhong Yue would also kill them.

There were a few Qi Practitioners that entered the city to have a better view on the battle, but Zhong Yue mistook them as his opponents and killed them before they even landed down on the ground.

Whereas Ao Shanshan turned over and whispered to Qiu Jin’er, “Your senior martial brother likes to boast?”

As the sole witness who saw the whole battle between Zhong Yue and Tian Myriad Mother, she knew how strong Zhong Yue was, and how easy this battle was for him compared to when he fought with Tian Myriad Mother. She then answered in a serious tone, “My senior martial brother hates boasting the most.”

Ao Shanshan laughed in joy, “Your senior martial brother likes to boast, and you will back him up from the side, you two are really a pair!”

Zhong Yue shook his head, he didn’t care to explain and thought in his heart, If I want to unleash my full strength, then I will have to use the skills dedicated for Long Yue, but if I do so, then my identity as Long Yue will be exposed….

Even if he were ranked number one in the Warrior Board, Zhong Yue was still feeling unsatisfied. He had a strong urge to unleash his full strength to ascertain his true position in the Lang Ya Board!

“Three thousand feet white hair.”

A placid voice suddenly rang in his ears, Zhong Yue's heart was alerted, and he quickly retreated back. A winter-white hair slipped past his chest and sliced through a palace on the side!

The white hair missed its target and shrunk back down quickly; Zhong Yue looked over, he saw that it was shrinking down into an inch long and returned back into the hairs of a young man.

The white-haired man gazed at the Warrior Board and said plainly, "Zhong Shan Clan member, you've killed a bunch of disabled cultivators and overtook my place."
