Chapter 420 - The Most Capable People Does The Most Work

The shocked Jun Sixie then said, "Come to think of it, the baby has been in Fubao's stomach for a whole two years!"

A Fuxi bloodline that was not any weaker than Feng Xiaozhong's and with the Innate Earth Spirit Body ... this was the first time Zhong Yue ever saw someone gaining such a huge advantage as soon as they were born.

His very own Fuxi bloodline might be very high, but it was acquired with painstaking blood and sweat, not gifted to him when he was born.

And with the many gifts that the newborn Gongsun Xuanyuan was given, his achievements were destined to be as great as Zhong Yue's, perhaps even greater!

The trio then reached the outside of the palace and waited patiently while Zhong Yue asked, "Xin Huo, little Xuanyuan is still so small, and his bloodline is so pure, don't you want to pick him as your inheritor?"

Xin Huo shook his head and replied, "Your bloodline is purer than his at the moment. If I pick him, won't that mean that I will have to pour in more effort to cultivate him? I want a pure-blood one, so when you are strong enough, we can go to the Zi Wei Imperial Star and look for one. Or … you can give birth to a pure blooded one as well. Either method is fine by me."

Shaking his head, Zhong Yue said, "That is not going to be easy. Besides, how can you be sure that my child will be a pure-blood Fuxi?"

"This is why you have to keep on mating and giving birth to many children!" answered the little flame dude confidently.

He then said again, "Your Fuxi bloodline is the strongest in the Ancestral Star now. With that, your children will also be those that possess a purer bloodline. A couple of them may become a pure-blood with some fortuitous mutations! Right now, you can live on for over a thousand years. If you mate every day and impregnate a lady a day, you will have 365,000 children by the time you die. And among them, there is bound to be at least one or two pure-blooded Fuxi descendants in that bunch."

Zhong Yue immediately shouted in exasperation, "Are you being serious right now!?"

"Fine ... then how about two days of rest every month?" replied Xin Huo softly.

A moment later, Shao Dian's voice sounded out, "Everyone, this way please."

Zhong Yue, Qiu Jin'er, and Jun Sixie entered the palace while Shao Dian carried the baby in his arms as everyone gathered around him took a look at the baby.

The baby appeared to have slightly yellowish skin, and faint earth Qi could be seen weakly enveloping him. His face also slightly resembled that of a dragon.

And when Zhong Yue looked at him, he realized that there was even draconic purple thunder Qi surging through the baby's body. He praised, "The blessing of the human emperor is indeed amazing, being able to purify little Xuanyuan's bloodline with this draconic Qi."

With a shake of his head, Xin Huo replied, "But the effect is not very good, this is the most this draconic Qi can do. Besides, the purification given by this draconic Qi was more focused on the innate celestial dragon's bloodline, which is the Leize bloodline. Obviously, the human emperor had no means to fully unseal the Fuxi bloodline, so he can only do this."

Upon careful examination, Zhong Yue, too, realized that the Ancestral Dragon bloodline was mixed with the Fuxi bloodline in little Xuanyuan.

I wonder which part of the Fuxi true from little Xuanyuan has awakened…

He then opened up his divine third eye and looked at Xuanyuan only to realize his spine looked like a real dragon bone. It was very different to a normal human's spine, and he thought, So little Xuanyuan has awakened the celestial bone and part of the dragon scale.

Zhong Yue then realized that a few golden and shiny dragon scales grew at the baby's waist.

The celestial heart, eye, bone, snake tail, and dragon scales were all equivalent. All of them were important as all of them had important functions. Thus far, Zhong Yue had awakened the divine eye, heart, and a tiny portion of the celestial bone, but he was considered as one who had awakened most of the aforementioned body parts.

However, his progress stopped there, and he wouldn't be able to improve anymore unless he obtained the Ancestral Dragon's or the Huaxu Clan's blood or opened up even more seals in the bloodline seal.

"Little Xuanyuan is such a talented boy, who should be the one that teaches him?" Qiu Jin'er said suddenly.

Everyone immediately looked at Zhong Yue, and he quickly replied, "I can assist him in his cultivation, but I cannot be his teacher. Sooner or later, I will leave the Ancestral Star, so it is impossible for me to keep on teaching him."

Jun Sixie nodded and said, "Little Xuanyuan is a newborn right now, there's no need to find him a teacher as of yet. We should wait until he is old enough for cultivation! I think that this little one will shine brightly in the future, and perhaps, the position of Swords Gate's headmaster will be in his hands one day."

Jun Sixie then looked at Zhong Yue and asked, "Junior martial brother, what did you want to tell me just now?"

“Let’s go outside and talk about it, headmaster.”

Jun Sixie then excused herself from the husband and wife and followed Zhong Yue to the Golden Summit. Zhong Yue requested, "Senior martial sister, please open the underground palace."

In front of the outsiders, he would address Jun Sixie as the headmaster of Swords Gate, but when it was only the two of them, he would address her as if she were just his senior martial sister. The confused Jun Sixie then asked with a smile, "What is it that you have to be so secretive about to even ask me to open the underground palace?"

She then opened up the underground palace, and they both went down it. It did not take long before they arrived at the godly spirit's secret realm at the center of the mountain, secret realm specially created to suppress the celestial woman in the Devil Soul Forbidden Land.

Back then, when Zhong Yue entered the Swords Gate Mountain through the Devil Soul Forbidden Land, he entered this godly spirit's secret realm through a portal and gave Jun Sixie and the others a fright when he walked out from it.

Zhong Yue then opened the secret realm, and this place quickly became one of the Swords Gate's most important. Other than that, the Swords Gate even obtained two divine weapons from this place and a celestial woman's body.

After a certain period of time, this secret realm would be reopened, and the disciples of Swords Gate would temper themselves here.

As they both entered the secret realm, Zhong Yue did not stop at all and headed straight towards the portal. Clearly, Zhong Yue was apprehensive of this secret realm's safety which intrigued Jun Sixie more.

She then followed him into the portal, and they arrived at the saint spirit altar.

When they stood on the altar and looked down, the entire Demonic Soul Secret Realm looked like a cage that trapped countless demonic souls in it. When put together, the entire secret realm looked just like a huge ball.

From here, they could even see the huge heart.

And on top of this huge ball was another smaller ball; it was originally used to siphon the demonic god's spirit, but it is now empty.

The altar too, was empty as the saint spirit had been taken away by someone else, while the saint herb lotus also fell into Zhong Yue's hands.

Zhong Yue then stood on the altar, took out the copper land, opened up the lit and said, “Take a look at this, senior martial sister.”

Using his Golden Peng Sword, he took the moon core out of the copper lamp. When Jun Sixie saw it, she discovered that this moon core was like a shiny pearl, and as the shining pearl was taken out of the copper lamp, it became larger and larger.

When it completely out of the copper lamp, it was as if a moon had appeared right before her. The bright moonlight it released also lit up the surroundings!

And in this moon, a young lady was sleeping in it.

“This is….”

Stunned and shocked, Jun Sixie lost her voice, and she then shouted, "What is this?"

"The moon core." replied Zhong Yue and he continued to explain, "The lady in the moon is the spirit of the moon, a spirit that is on the cusp of ascending to an innate god."

Jun Sixie opened her jaws wide at the news that Zhong Yue told her as it was simply far too shocking!

"Junior martial brother, when did you go to the moon? How did you manage to drag the entire moon with you back here?"

"Wh...What have you been doing in this period of time? H... have you gone up to the moon to do all of this? Just... just how did you do that?"

Zhong Yue quickly shook his head and replied, "I didn't do this, it was all done by the grand ancestor of Xiao Mang Celestial Race. He stole the moon core and moon god and hid them under the Xiao Mang Celestial Temple. I only stole them away from him."

Jun Sixie was once again lost for words as she thought, He went to the Xiao Mang Celestial Temple and stole the moon core and moon god?

She then suddenly thought back to the incident that started with the Xiao Mang grand ancestor's emergence and almost resulted in a calamitous war among the gods.

Jun Sixie then linked all the missing pieces of the puzzle in her mind together and immediately came to understand why the Xiao Mang grand ancestor emerged from his slumber!

This… this were all caused by Junior Martial Brother Zhong!

Her chest heaved up and down, and she only managed to recollect her thoughts after being called by Zhong Yue.

“Senior martial sister, what should we do about the moon god?” asked Zhong Yue.

“What to do with her?” replied Jun Sixie with an empty mind.

"Yes, what should we do? Putting her on this altar might be able to cut off the detection from the outside world. I suspect that the Xiao Mang Celestial Race's Qi Practitioners with moon spirit Yuan Shen can sense her, and this altar is the only place that can hide her from their senses."

“No!”

Immediately, Jun Sixie disagreed and said, "If they know that she is here, we of the will be in grave danger! She must not be kept in Swords Gate! This place may be safe, but we can't guarantee that everyone can keep their mouth shut, I can't risk it! This moon god and moon core can only be kept with you!"

"Kept with me?" asked Zhong Yue as he frowned.

"Seems like that is the only way! As long as she is still sleeping, you must not expose her existence at any cost! If she is exposed, then it will be the end for the Swords Gate!"

With a nod, Zhong Yue then asked, "Senior martial sister, I need your help to activate this copper lamp to put the moon core back into the lamp."

Once again, Jun Sixie was shocked as after she helped return the moon core and moon god into the copper lantern, half of her energy had been depleted.

"Junior martial brother, this is a secret that only the both of us know. It should not be known to the others," warned Jun Sixie.

Upon hearing her words, Zhong Yue nodded.

However, Jun Sixie was still a little bit worried, and she kept on warning him, "You mustn't tell anyone about them, and you definitely must not take them out under any circumstances."

"Don't worry. I understand the consequences, senior martial sister."

But in the end, Jun Sixie's worries were never completely put to rest no matter how many assurances Zhong Yue gave her.

Junior Martial Brother Zhong will always cause major havoc wherever he went. Previously, he struck the Martial Divine Master in half, and the time before that, he was the reason for the death of the demons' eight saint clans' clan masters. And this time, he stole the moon core and moon god from Xiao Mang grand ancestor and almost incited a war! I feel like giving up my position as the headmaster already! Every single time he goes out, I'll always worry if that will be the time his enemies will get the better of him….

Upon thinking of this, Jun Sixie quickly said, "Junior martial brother, don't go anywhere anymore for the time being. Just stay in the Swords Gate and cultivate obediently."

To her relief, Zhong Yue nodded and said, "I will be attempting to advance into the Heavenly Dharma, so I need to cultivate peacefully for the time being anyway."
