That gave the FBI time to really hunt down the sasquatch. One of the FBI agents went to the shower room and locked the door when she heard someone trying to get in and looked out the window and was face to face with the sasquatch and got on her radio and when help came he turned and walked away and shots were fired and the sasquatch was shot and not only was there foot prints in the newly fallen snow but also blood trail. They followed the trail and found it in a cave and ended it's life.
The FBI called in a crew who brought concrete bricks and sealed up both ends of the cave so nobody would find it and bring back the press. The town's council ordered a sasquatch custom to fit the ex lumberjack and took a picture of it. In a special meeting after the thrill seekers and media left they explained what the FBI had done and that the ex lumberjack had agreed to be the scapegoat for the town. When his trail came up he pleaded guilty and was fined. The citizens paid his fine and he was hired not only as a maintaince man but as the sasquatch during the tourist season.
During the winter and early spring people started seeing wildlife returning to the farmlands and town. and then the summer and veryone saw the return of the frogs and turtles and the lake had a hatchery bring in minnows and crappies and released them into the lake to build up the population again. The campground had a new tourist attraction called Fishing River Monster Maze and ex lumberjack Paul portrayed the sasquatch and at the end he waould take of the head and the group would see that it wasn't a real sasquatch and for a price the tourist could have a picture taken with him. That ended The Fishing River sasquatch problem.
