Julie would lead them around the track and she was weaning them from the milk subsititute to water but they still wanted the milk substitute every so often but Julie was told by both of her parents that they would drink the water if they got thirsty enough. She had to keep them away from other horses so they didn't get themselves into trouble with the mares who was still nursing their foals
Both of the foals was in the pasture when the throughbreds started arriving and being put into their stalls for the first day of racing. and the daily routine was expidicted tremendously..The foals started running around the pasture like if it was the race track racing each other. It was fun to watch them racing. Julie would bet on which one was going to cheat and in the middle of their race and cross the middle of the pasture when they saw her school bus. Some how she always won the bet.
She told her siblings you got to be observant . Still they couldn't figure out what she saw..Her father could tell also and she she'll make a trainer one day. Jill would laugh and say my youngest daughter the veterinarian trainer. There were rumors that the track might be up for sale at the end of the season whenever a new horse from the west coast would arrive there.
