A week after finishing their renovation job they were called back to the manor to inspect the third floor. Kim realized she hadn't been up on the third floor while renavating the the two bottom floors she just done her job and kept professional but every time she saw Jonathan it was getting harder to do. She accompanied her father to the manor to do the inspection. When they reached the third floor there was a musty smell coming from some where meaning mold.
When Mr. Anderson informed Mr. Astor he arranged for his brother to come out and check it out and see what had to be done.to fix the problem When the construction crew arrived and brought along a ladder to check out the roof. The men had to go through the attic to reach the roof by an outside deck Some of the wood was rotten so they suspended inspecting the roof untill after lunch while two men replaced the wood on the deck. When they were done then the ladder was put up on the deck leaning on the house trim.
The roof needed to be replaced so the renovation was put on hold and the construction put on a brand new roof which exceeded the budget on the house. Mr. Astor informed the Anderson company he would go to New York and see if the estate would allow more money to complete the job. Michelle was going with him but they wanted Kim to check on the house while they were gone. The company had rolls of insulation that was left over from another job snd some wall board so she had her two painters under her load them up and delivered it to the manor
