The police Department wasn't happy to be made to arrest one of their finest outstanding officers they started pulling Jack over for minor things that he felt it was nothing but harassement and talked to his lawyer about his situation and told him he was really in fear for his life and they may try to pull something really bad on him. His lawyer advised him to do three things. The first thing was to have a security alarm system installed in his house including the outside perimeter. The second thing he needed to do was get a body cam and wear it when he was out. The third thing was to get a dash camera for his vehicle. Jack thought all three suggestions was what he needed.
The night that he had the security system installed he didn't put the sign out posting he was being protected and all kinds of alarms went off scarring off whoever the perpetrator was. Jack couldn't sleep the rest of the night. When he got up and was inspecting the outside perimeter he found a stake with a written nessage attached to it that he felt was a threat. The local police department and the county sheriff's department didn't think it was but the state patrol felt as Jack did and felt as though his life was really in danger. They suggested that he might consider hiding out for awhile even though he hadn't done anything wrong so he again decided to have a couple of security guards with Jasmine and him at all times
