See You Soon - Page 27/42

In Jackson, Mississippi a man drove around in the car, looking for her. He finally located the right place and pulled into the parking lot. He knew that there were only about two weeks or so until most of these people began to leave from Spring Break, so he had to act now, tonight to stay on track with his timeline. He flipped down the visor and pressed his fingers to the mouth on the picture. “Soon my dear, we will meet again very soon.”

He laughed as he walked inside to the counter where the young redhead was working. “Hi. Can you tell me how to get to the Holiday Inn from here? I am a guest lecturer at the college tomorrow, and I need to get checked in. My GPS has given me different sets of directions, and I am afraid that I seem to have lost my sense of direction.”

The young lady looked up at him and asked who he would be speaking for.

He gave her the name of one of her professors, and she smiled at him. “I will be in his class tomorrow.”

He quickly introduced himself, and they chatted for a few minutes about her classes. She then told him to give her a few moments, and she would start that way. “The off-campus apartments share a drive with the Holiday Inn. You can follow me over if you would like.”
