The county health department came out and inspected the business and at first didn't think it was a problem since the back room where they were staying and little bathroom facility wasn't right off of the shop and didn't affect the way the shop was run went ahead and left it open but The Hardings being one of the richest and most influential families in the town put out smear campaign on the Cooks and the business kept getting complaints leashed against them. One complaint that the shop had an ordor coming from it which it didn't. Then another complaint that a customer saw at least two rats in the business which brought the county health department out again. As usual they couldn't find any.Then the complaint was bats and again as usual no bats either. .
Then in the paper somebody stated that they were having suspicious activities going on in the back room like either drug dealings or illegal card gmes or whatever and showed the back parking lot with several cars parked which only two belong to them and her sister's family when she came over for dinner one night the others was people who lived and worked in a rehab place took their toll on
