​ They got the keys to the building and went to look at it. When they pulled in front of it they were amazed by the looks of it It was a three story red brick building. On the street level it had two parts of it for businesses and then stairs going up to the actual living area. The living room was hugh and had a very nice firplace in it.

​Across from it was a very spacious library where John could keep all of his law books. then a little room that had sun coming through the window that made Joan think of her plants and their cats would love to snuggle for nice warm nap on the window sills that was at least ten inches wide. The kitchen was so big that a staff of a dozen could work in it and never ran into each other. The dining room which sat just behind the livingroom was a good size also which had a table that sat twelve people and a china buffet could hold all of their dishes and Joan's mother's dinner bells and china and still be mostly empty. The only thing about the outside of the building all windows and doors had bars on them.

​ The upstirs had four good size bedrooms which a couple of them had their own full size bathrooms and several closets and one bathroom by itself in the hallway for the other to bedrooms than an open area which Joan thought her neices and nephews would love to have as gaming space. She already loved the place and they hadn't looked at the businesses situatiion yet with the exception of when they pulled in and saw the windows. They did noticed a doors in the main hall that led to the businesses. Joan was the first one to check out the businesses part of the building. Both of them had nice big windows. One looked like it could have been a doctor's office waiting room and then a room behind it where John's office could be. In the right side business looked as though it could of been a bakery where in the window you could display your breads or pastry items or at least nowdays plastic versions of them. Behind the business wall was a good size kitchen which had commerical ovens so she knew this is for her
