Maria
On Friday morning after saying their goodbyes and watching Sarah head off to school on her moped they packed their car mainly with Maria's personal items, her
sterero, most if not all of her CD's and DVD's her blue ray player, and her 32" flat screen television set and sat off to Oklahoma, Norman Oklahome to be exact.
First they had to fight the traffic through the greater Kansas City area then settled into making up time for the rush hour hold up. Mr. Harrison sat the cruise control
on their 2014 Volkswagon Jette Sportwagen and made it down to Joplin by supper time and fueled up the car, then preceeded into the 1-44 Joplin Petro truck stop
for supper and to look around for awhile before getting back on the road.. As they were looking around the truckstop they saw KOAM TV 7 in Miami, Oklahoma
weather was one one of the televisions, predicting a storm was headed their way. Mr. Harrison thought they could possibly get to Exit 240 to Catosa, Oklahoma and
could bucker down and ride out the storm that was headed their way hit. With him being a weather man himself had a pretty good idea to when a storm the size that
KOAM was predicting would arrive.
