They had just crossed over into Oklahoma onto what people now call the Will Rodgers Turnpike but still is also 1-44 and had just past Miami and was fairly close
to Exit 240 when they encountered pouriing down rain with hail the size of golf balls and decided to pull under an overpass to sit out the storm. The sky cleared
enough to see where they were going and Mr. Harrison saw a wall cloud the size of the entire highway coming very quickly. It was lifting their car from the ground
then sat it back down. Mr. Harrison backed up under the over pass hoping that the tornado would recede back up into the sky and over the overpass but instead it
stayed on the ground and pickked up more speed and hit the over pass causing the concrete over pass to collaspe onto their car
After the storm was over KOAM TV 7 said it was an EF5 tornado with wind speeds over 200mph that took out the overpass and turned all kinds of vehicles
including cars, pickup trucks, vans buses.RV's, and commercial vehicles.all over the highway. Later when the crane that Oklahoma state brought in to take the
concrete overpass off of the highway they found the Harrison's Jetta and all three people in the vehiclewas pronounced dead. They showed the car with the roof
