“Thomas, it’s late…” The next knock that came was even louder and that’s when Aliziana decided to open the door before neighbours could complain. Slowly she assessed the look on his face, “keep it down - my neighbours!” She warned him as he walked past her. She closed the door but didn’t lock it. She was going to be rid of him in a hurry she convinced herself.

Thomas sat slowly on a counter stool and leaned his elbow on the kitchen counter as though he was exhausted. He looked worried and disheveled.

“How the hell did you get in and why are you here,” she asked angrily.

“What are you so pissed about - why have you been avoiding me,”he growled and slammed his hand on the counter and she flinched in surprise.

“Thomas, we went through this already last night and the night before - I told you why.”

“I don’t get it - things have been good so what’s the problem - what the hell is going on with you Ali?” He demanded with frustration as he looked her over. She noticed the lingering look with his eyes fixed on her and biting his lips while drooling - she knew that look well and wished she had something else on other than her nightdress.
