“You can call me Ali,” she informed him, hoping that he would loosen up, “sorry but I don’t recall your name.”

“Brayden Pryce ma’am - you can call me Brayden.” And for the first time, he offered her a close-lipped smile as he looked over to her, yet, his tone had remained rigid.

Being in closer proximity to her, he eyed her more carefully. He found her quite captivating to look at. Not extraordinarily beautiful but features so pleasing to look at, that he didn’t want to stop. Her face was delicate, round, with clear glowing skin, her well proportioned nose balanced her wide full lips and she had a pronounced widow’s peak above her expressive piercing dark eyes. He suspected that her eyes made a revealing commentary each time someone gazed into them. That’s what he perceived as he peered into them - her sensuality, he decided.

Aliziana trembled for a second. She had felt a sudden surge of magnetism to him when he caught her off guard with his slight smile. And the way he looked at her was very telling. He had boldly undressed her with his eyes in less than a minute, she was certain. How fearless. What was he doing by looking at her so intensely - trying to read her eyes as though he could see through her, she asked herself as he turned around. She stared in his direction as he drove and then collected her thoughts, refocused and grinned amusingly.
