“You are not what I expected.” He laughed. She could almost feel the laughter in her. “I think”- he stared into her eyes, “I think it’s you, this new humorous you.”

“This does not sound good, not at all.” He sat back on his seat which was good because she was feeling dizzy. She could never say she believed in love but she did believe in lust. Too bad, the object of her lust was soon to be related to Angie, her worst enemy. She inhaled deeply like a drowning rat.

“We haven’t heard from you or Ricky,” the man said.

“Everything is fine, everything is going according to plan. We will send you the money soon.” There was a knock on the door. “I have to go.” Angie said as she hanged up. Betty walked in the room with a smile on her face.
