Flora couldn’t remember the last time she’d visited the zoo. It was long before her mother started cheating on her father. She’d never ridden in a car driven by a breathtakingly handsome man with the wind blowing her hair. Her hand linked with the sexy man she never thought would make her happy. She’d never had dinner before a campfire with a man stretched out at her side. But more, she had never experienced with a man the slow build of intimacy that they both sensed developing between them during the day. It was awkward.

He caught her hand and laced his fingers through hers, “What are you thinking?”

A shiver chased down her spine as she looked down at him. She was unable to think of anything but the strength of the fingers linked with hers. His husky voice and the warmth in his eyes suggested intimacy. She was tempted to reply with a vague “nothing” but she couldn’t. She discovered that she could only offer the truth, “I’m thinking all about my experience with you.”

He drew her hand to his and pressed a kiss against her knuckles, sending shivers down her spine. His gaze was fixed on her.

“There are more experiences I want to introduce you to.” He said.
