The next two rooms belonged to other designers who were not present there so their rooms were locked. The fourth room belonged to Miss Veronica Williams a very famous designer who dealt in purely bridal wear. Jay opened the fifth door to an unused room and asked Cia to enter as it would be Cia’s office from now till the end of her contractual year. It was a medium sized room with a main table with all designing tools, two mannequins, a wardrobe and a side table.
Cia loved the room because it somehow resembled her personality . It was small , simple but adequately furnished. Her fingers itched to start sketching but she had to wait till Jay formally acknowledged that this was her room.
“Cia this is your room .I hope it is to your liking.”Jay remarked.
“I like the room. When can I start to work?”
“I was planning to show you the entire factory but if you want to start you may do so .We can leave the rest of the tour for some other day. Mrs Kalpana come here. This is Cia your new boss. She is the new designer hired for the Modern Collection. Asist her in everything. She is new here so you will need to help her out.”
Mrs Kalpana was around fity years of age graying hair and motherly appearance. She gave a warm smile to Cia and Cia realized she had made another friend.
